The Vietnam e-Visa for Australians is a new type of visa which allows all Australian citizens to enter Vietnam for various purposes including for tourism purposes. The electronic visa will allow travelers to stay in Vietnam for a maximum of 30 days and it is a single-entry visa.

For visa on arrival, travelers may choose between a 30-day or 90 day visa, which is good for people who wishes to stay in Vietnam for a longer time. The VOA is also good for those who did not have time to apply for an e-Visa and is going to Vietnam last-minute.
